B° Algae - Ponton 1000

The pontoon, constructed of stainless steel (1.4571), floats on the surface of tanks and ponds. It transmits ultrasonic waves perpendicular to the water.

The small microscopic bubbles, generated by the energy, will explode after a few milliseconds and produce a locally high pressure and temperature.

The energy released destroys the cell walls of the algae and breaks down the thread algae into shorter segments.

An external generator operates the ultrasonic vibrating elements on the underside of the pontoon.

The energy consumption is 1,2 kW for 0,25 m². The ultrasonic frequency vibrates between 20-40 kHz.
